   hi..haha….was about to post the same entry…..i also have some similar pics of takuban perahul..yup, a nice place indeed…..but dislike the sulfer smell…..wheres the pictures of the small2 shops on the hill..haha….this is the main kawah rite..kawah ratu..what about the others?

   @pilotHans: Hello man. You just visited this place? I cannot wait to read your article about this place. I’ve bet you got more interesting story than mine. Hehehe. Yeah, that is the main kawah. The sulfur is very smelly. I didn’t realize it at first until after that I went to shopping at Bandung. I realize my body is smell very weird when I compare to other people.

    @sirei/rei: I think the best solution is you push me and at the same time I pull you down. Sure very fair and square. Hahaha. Take a dip in the hot spring? Of course got, I just dip my legs because I haven’t brought extra clothes. =)

    @kenwooi: Nature-ing? Wow, nice word! This is a real hot spring instead of using the machine to pump the water from underground. Yes, its dang cool. =)

    @WanWan: Not just hiking. The main purpose I go to Bandung is for shopping. Err, you can swim if you want to. I don’t want because I don’t like hot water. Hehehe

    @Jayce: Malaysia got few hot springs but the feeling not great as this one. I really wish there is a hot spring in Genting. =)

    In 1982 about Feb of that year I and another engineer visited this volcano Tangkuban Perahu will working for PT Radio up in the hill doing a SCPC project used for island communications… While there at this volcano my partner dare me to run across the face of this volcano… Together we did it and survived… Our company sponsor had a fit over this little jog of ours… Today I was looking for a 1982 – 1983 picture of the eruption that took place a few months after we did what what did… Any help would be kind… Thanks Bob

    I heard that Tangkuban Perahu maybe waking up again… Any opinions out there to confirm this re-awaking new story I found?
    Also looking at the picture I found on the Internet, much looks the same except down in the crater… When I ran across there was a flat side and a rather muddy site with a big bubble of Mub poping fairly often to my left… As I ran by, I was 30 feet from that bubble or maybe less… Looking at the picture I see today, I confirm the bottom has change somewhat from last I saw it…
