   After changing location back to Malaysia. Then it couldn’t login the acc on tv. And requires pairing again. Any solution to this ?

   Hi. After I installed the app and changed the location, everything was going fine. But a few hours later, it seems that none of the TV shows work while the movies worked fine. How do I fix this? I have switched off and on my TV, my wifi, I uninstalled and installed it again.. Nothing worked.

   I did this since 1 June 2021, everything was OK. Until this morning (4 June 2021), when I open any series, the episode listing didn’t come up. Movies work fine. So, I’m not the only one facing this.
   Any idea how to fix?

   Yes, as of 3pm, 4 June 2021, the series are back to normal. I guess there was something wrong from the service’s side.

   Do your face the issues when watching Disney movies where there are black portion at upper & lower at the TV screen

    @Song. Yes, that’s normal if your TV setting for Aspect Ratio set at 16:9. You can fix this by change the Aspect Ratio to Zoom-All Direction.

    I have subsribe with Disney Hotstar India . Can i watch on my LG TV. When i change the location India in the settings. My present location is Malaysia.

    Can I subscribe from mobile version and sign in to LG TV? Mobile apps seems to have more subscription options.

    @Jerry. Yes, you can subscribe via mobile and later you can pair it to your LG tv.

    Dear Admin

    I successful followed your instruction to install the Disney+ Hotstar in one of LG TV
    Newer model

    But unsuccessful to install at the other 2 units of LG older 2016 models. I couldn’t locate the apps in the LG content store and cannot search too . This TV also not allow me to change the Aspect ratio

    This LG model 86 SJ 957 works perfectly fine with changing service location to India & change is aspect ratio to zoom all direction

    The other 2 units LG model 79 UF 770T , unsuccessfully install Disney+ Hotstar and aspect ratio is locked too

    Kindly advise and appreciate your assistance

    @Zabuwa. I believe sometime there is a bug between LG TV and Disney+ Hotstar server. It happened to me too once. After few hours it fixed by itself.

    After changing location to INDIA, the LG Contents did not show the Disney+ Hotstar. I try to search which also not available .

    Any Suggestion?

    @Jenny: Just make sure LG Services Country change to India. Not Broadcast Country.

    Weird that I can’t find any Hotstar or Disney+ on LG Content store based on India’s location. My LG TV is 2017 and running WebOS 3 and above

    I cNt watch the series on LG TV as well. But can watch on my phone. Even after the channel the aspect ratio.

    same issue for me. can watch movie but cannot watch series. Has emailed to LG malaysia few days ago to inlcude disney+hostar into LG content malaysja. Yet to hear back from them. Hope they do that. it is very straightfwd for them to do and it will please existing and future LG customers

    i also email to disney+hotstar for the same thing. tried multiple cahnnels and hopefully someone listen. else i likely to discontinue my subscription after 3 months. i cannot enjoy star wars, watching it on tablet or tiny phone.

    Same issue I have on series not available but movie is fine.
    Tried changing my DNA to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. Didn’t work.
    Happened since last Sunday (6/6) and unfix till today. 🙁

    Workaround,
    add “the episode” not “the show” to your watch list using the web/mobile

    select continue watching on the TV

    Facing the same issue, series not able to watch. Only movies.

    And hope LG Malaysia include the HotStar in our region and fix the bug.

    I received a reply from LG Malaysia that hotstar is working with them to bring the app to LG content in Q3, exact month tbd.
    In the mean time, I have tried what LJ Liu has suggested and it worked!
    From your phone or tablet , go into the series and add each episode you want to watch to watch list one by one. After that, you can go to LG smart TV and watch it from the watchlist.

    Hi, admin. Yesterday I install this at my television. Everything went well as per your step. But till today when I choose series there will no episodes come out for selection. Anyone here facing this problem or any solutions for this issue. Thanks.

    Hi Admin, it works, however, HDR content is not working with this method. I can use my phone to mirror to my tv and I can play HDR content but if i use the app to play the same movie, HDR feature is not working. Any solution for this? Thanks.

    Disney+ Hotstar is now available in the Malaysia store and everything seems to be OK.

    I own an LG C8 model….Disney+ Hotstar works fine. However, how can I watch UHD or experience Dolby sound content? As I run everything back from the TV to my AV amp?

    Is it supported?
