Indonesia – Tangkuban Perahu

Tangkuban Perahu is an active volcano located about 30 kilometers from the north city of Bandung. The mountain is about 2,084m above sea level. It is one of the most popular tourist attractions in West Java in Indonesia especially for hiking and hot spring. Mount Tangkuban Perahu is a stratovalcano. The last eruption was on the year 1983.

hi..haha….was about to post the same entry…..i also have some similar pics of takuban perahul..yup, a nice place indeed…..but dislike the sulfer smell…..wheres the pictures of the small2 shops on the hill..haha….this is the main kawah rite..kawah ratu..what about the others?

@pilotHans: Hello man. You just visited this place? I cannot wait to read your article about this place. I’ve bet you got more interesting story than mine. Hehehe. Yeah, that is the main kawah. The sulfur is very smelly. I didn’t realize it at first until after that I went to shopping at Bandung. I realize my body is smell very weird when I compare to other people.

@sirei/rei: I think the best solution is you push me and at the same time I pull you down. Sure very fair and square. Hahaha. Take a dip in the hot spring? Of course got, I just dip my legs because I haven’t brought extra clothes. =)

@WanWan: Not just hiking. The main purpose I go to Bandung is for shopping. Err, you can swim if you want to. I don’t want because I don’t like hot water. Hehehe

@Jayce: Malaysia got few hot springs but the feeling not great as this one. I really wish there is a hot spring in Genting. =)
